I just called FIN AID office to ask how much more I could get if I chose live on-campus to instead of off-campus, he said usually it will be like about 2,000 more...

and if I choose to live on-campus, I must take a meal plan...I have already confused by these various sorts of meal plan...should I live on-campus?

I have just changed mine from off-campus to on-campus,too.

do we need to submit the sir to tell the financial aid office to switch our housing status from off campus to on campus…

btw, what are you efc scores?? because i guess i was one of those who was chosen randomly to submit a verification form and w2’s

turns out ucla isn’t given me any gift aid…i’m ****ed b/c uci/ucsd both gave me ~$20,000…i thought that ucla would give me about the same amount??

what do u guys think the prob is?

To ccforumaq: Yep…I think we gonna have to change our FASFA info on the Fasfa website from off-campus to on-campus…the UCLA Fao will be automatically notified I believe.

Kahn, are you sure they are automatically notified?

i just switched mine from off campus to commuting since ucla is giving me pretty much nothingggggg for finaid. i called the finaid office and the guy i talked to said he could change it for me right there or i could change it on fafsa. so you can change it either way. the guy i talked to was adamant on making sure i wanted to switch from off campus to commuting i dont know why.

where can I switch from off-campus to on-campus??

you can do it on fafsa or call the financial aid office at ucla and ask them
