Quick question:
I applied to JHU RD and I also applied for need-based financial aid, though my college counselors doubts I'll receive much money. The thing is that I never filled out the css since you have to pay 16$ (i think) per university, which I think is a bit steep. I've received two emails from JHU in the last week reminding me to fill it out by the deadline... which was back in the 1st of March. I don't mean to be terribly optimistic, but do these emails possibly mean that they are seriously considering accepting me?

many thanks :D

Everyone who has applied for financial aid and is missing information is receiving messages to complete their financial aid applications. If you do not complete your financial aid application then your financial aid application can not be reviewed and if you are admitted you will not receive a financial aid offer.

The financial aid office does not have any records of who will be admitted and who will not be admitted as that determination has not been finalized by the Admissions Office at this time. That is why they are contacting all financial aid applicants with missing information. Sorry, this is not some loop-hole in our process.
