yeah, i did it all myself…and had to fight with my parents all the way to get their tax forms and stuff…financial aid was wayyy worse than any college application.

When you get through it you’ll appreciate going to your school more than anyone else around you =)

that’s what im hoping. it’s been a struggle. id been telling them to get stuff together since like december/january. and everytime there was some excuse or they couldn’t get to it.

so i just ended up doing most of it on my own.

Don’t worry, you’ve gotten the hardest part over with…next year you’ll only need to fill out one application (i was excited about this haha)

But, now you are much more knowledgeable about finances, something that will be so helpful later in life. Its amazing to see how many kids in college have no idea about how much they are paying to attend, or have never even seen their bill for their expenses, let alone know what a fasfa is.

Feel proud that you are the one who made it possible to attend whatever college you choose…you’ve pretty much done this all on your own…congrats :)

I agree, you guys, you have done a great job! I know that if my D had to do her FA stuff she would have been overwhelmed, because I was overwhelmed myself, and it was my financials. She would have been able to do it, but not without a lot of help. It was horrible! But I just finished the third year’s work, and it was really much easier the second and third times, so now that you are done, truly the worst of it is over. You just have to fill in the blanks with the new numbers in the coming three years. Just don’t forget to do it each year!
