I was accepted ED to Cornell. I got a letter saying that I was missing the following things from my financial aid application but it didn't list any for me. Is it something they send out to everyone or is it just me? It told me that if I hadn't already sent in CSS, that I should do so even though I had sent it onlinew ith everything else.

Okay 17 reads but no replies so I'll assume it's just me then.

Uhh I got that too...like two weeks before I found out I was deferred? IDK

Just call them and ask. They will tell you. I had something similar sent to me, my dad called, and we sorted it out. It turned out that it was just a postal/clerical error; it was some trivial form that we had sent in but was lost. Very easy to fix and no big deal.

I dont remember if that time it listed anything or not. I do remember that we once got one of those blank forms you speak of simultaneously telling me that I was missing something and missing nothing. Quite confusing, again, just call and ask.

I also got a letter from them that gave a vague statement about filling out the CSS profile if I hadn't already. I called and it turns out my father missed something for the noncustodial parent. (Fun fun) Did anyone get the REAL package in the mail yet? Satisfied/Disappointed?

i wouldn't call it a package, more like two letters for me, one saying we were deemed financialy sufficient for no aid, and another telling us other places to find aid, i would fall in the disappointed zone, i was hoping for some help, even if it was very little

psquared, same thing for me. I got 0 money. Guess that means I'll just have to take out more loans right?

I am SO scared now... My problem is my parents are divorced and my dad's going to end up paying my entire college education even though I don't live with him.. And to say he's less than thrilled is a huge understatement... But I guess I'm not going to be the only one paying ridiculous amounts of loans off.
