Financial Aid: lolwut?

Hai.

My parents seem to think that if I accept financial aid from Emory, and if I get off another school's waitlist (and my parents make me go), then I will still be forced to pay the financial aid at Emory, even though I will be attending another school and paying their own loans for financial aid.

Plz tell me they're saying it wrong!

kthankz

-Hillary

I super cereally doubt that that’s the case. You could prob just call up the fin aid office and tell them that you won’t accept the aid after all

I was just asking.

I’m 99.999% sure I’m going to Emory anyway, but my parents are just out of the loop sometimes.

I wish I could be super cereal about things.

Accepting the award is not binding. Only paying the deposit is binding.

no hilsa, you are not obligated to Emory’s finaid if you end up in Nashville. You would just lose your $450 deposit to Emory.

Haha. I love how even when I try to not disclose my waitlist school, everyone knows it’s Vanderbilt anyway.

But, really, Atlanta will be my new home next year.

^haha…I guess you are just popular ;]

Or just so nerdy that people remember what I write. :D

Anyway, my parents finally accepted my Emory financial aid. Yay!!!
