So here what I got:

Fed Direct Loan Subsidized

3,500.00

Fed Direct Loan Unsubsidized

1,126.00

Federal Work Study

3,000.00

Aid Year Totals

18,276.00

Estimated Annual Tuition* and Fees* ($U.S.) for 2012 - 2013 Academic Year is $11,847.

Here are some questions:

Should I accept all the loan since my financial packet amount is $18,276 and the tuition only $11,847?

Thank you so much, your answer means a lot to me.

Tuition and fees won’t be your only expenses. What about room and board, books, commuting or travel expenses and the like?

Will you be living at home?

Besides…you really can’t use the work-study for tuition…you’ll have to earn that over the year. That will get used for day to day expenses, travel, etc.

I don’t see $18k in aid. What ELSE did you get? Grants? how much?

Also…What is the cost breakdown of your school…

Yes, room and board will prove to be a significant expense, especially if your college is in a big city far from home.

Can you please post the rest of the package? I am thinking you must have received grants. Otherwise, your unsub loan would be $2000 … and you would be asking how you are going to come up with the rest of the amount owed.
