<p>I was accepted, and got my financial aid notification, but I was accepted EA. My fin aid was updated recently though, and unfortunately, got less grant money than what was originally given to me…</p>

<p>superexcited - Our FA package was just updated for a 2nd time… game me more pell grant but took away 6,000 dollars in Michigan Grant. This is not good… as Michigan is my son’s number 1 choice and OOS this is a tough to take.</p>
<p>superexcited/Gogiantsfan, did they come close to EFC of your family. Can you please give a ball park estimate what was the diff between EFC and Michigan’s aid.</p>
<p>Hi Virginia… EFC 2800… package was at 21,100…now down to 15,100 that is with some grants, works study and loans. We are OOS so I would say that they are way off…
Boston College gave us 34,000. So both schools are CSS schools and BC came in with double the money… go figure…But, we knew going in they were tough with their money to OSS… I guess we were just hoping for a miracle…</p>
<p>Sorry Gogianatsfan, it is very hard to digest why would they reduce the declared aid package. For your EFC the grant/aid is way less for an OOS.</p>
