Are the numbers for financial aid given under the admitted students letter on the wbsite per year or lump sum?

I'm ALMOST positive that it's per year, because apparently Princeton 're-evaluates' your family's obligation each year. Also, mine wouldn't make sense if I had to divide it by four.

Yale is not giving me a DIME. WHY IS THAT??!!!

Cause Yale sucks. PRINCETON BABY. CONGRATS.

Princeton currently has one of the best financial aid programs in the country (for undergrads at least.) They have eliminated loans, so all students graduate debt-free, and obviously Princeton is needblind in accepting students (international too, unlike places like Brown.)

So this means that you don't have to take a high paying job immediately after college if you don't want to, for there will be no debt to pay back and accumulate...it's fairer to the student.

Yale, on the other hand, has a fairly generous financial aid program in comparison to the country but not compared to a place like Princeton.

oh yeah, Princeton baby it is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

wow, you are a cool mom ;)

Like I have said before, I don't know if my son realizes that yet. Someday, perhaps. Oh yeah, Princeton!!!
