If we submit our financial aid apps online, do we still need to mail in your tax returns/forms/etc. by mail? How does it work? Thanks

Yes. You must

Thanks nylover. Is there anything special I should submit with those forms? A letter? (I'm naive when it comes to financial aid, as you surely must have noticed by now!)

yes, it would be nice to include a cover letter telling them what's in the package

I'm applying online but can I send everything financial aid related through snail mail and just leave the financial aid part of my online app blank? Or do I have to fill out the financial aid form online?

I'm also applying online, financial aid and all. Do we have to postmark the tax returns by the Jan. 14th deadline or can that wait until after I get accepted (assuming :))...

No, all fin-aid stuff have to be in before deadline.

For birdofprey: all fin-aid documents are being used as of right now for an ESTIMATE of your financial aid. So it has to be before the deadline. When you actually decide to enroll, THEN you bring them your recently just-filed tax documents of 2004, that's when they decide your REAL fin-aid, instead of just an estimate.

And for Jenz: I doubt you can do that, but I can't stress the simplicity of a simple phone call.

Anyone feel free to correct me if I'm mistaken.
