Its May and I have been working out a plans for my sophmore year. I have only four classes at my CCC to complete during the Fall. Recently, I found out Columbia University hosts a visiting student program for undergrads. I could take upper division art history courses not available through my CCC, persue research, experience working and studying art history in THE art capital of the world.

Sounds fabulous, but COLUMBIA OFFERS NO FINANCIAL AID TO VISITING STUDENTS. However, Columbia emphasizes the financial aid from the applicants current university will transfer. I have no finanial aid.

The program is a dream to me. For students with no financial aid like myself, what are the options? How can I find financial aid that will transfer for a visiting student program and fulfill its 16K price tag? With most scholarships deadlines and awards during the spring, is it still possible to find aid?
