What did everyone get for their financial aid? My preliminary package absolutely sucks. Only 7,700 a year and it’s all loans and work study, no grants. Unless I get one of the merit scholarships there’s no way I’ll attend Babson.

Your ballpark GPA and SATs??

I think I got a little more than you did. It’s a little more than 12000 and w/ 5500 in grant; HOWEVER, paying more than 40000 is way above my family’s EFC. I hope this is just an estimate because with aid like this I cannot attend Babson under any circumstances.

Also, did anyone get any scholarships?

I don’t think we know about scholarships until after RD because everyone else eligible. 3.91 GPA and 2170 SAT (didn’t send), but 34 ACT.

I actually got a Presidential Scholarship with my acceptance folder last week…not sure what that means for the other scholarship notifications though.

Wow really? Dang, that sucks. I would have thought I had a great shot at that…

andie 3 did u have an interview and do u mind me asking what ur stats were?

I don’t mind at all… I didn’t have an interview and didn’t even know about the scholarship opportunities. I applied EA btw.

That is very impressive! Is Babson your first choice school?

I think for the scholarships it has to do a lot with essays and recommendations too. Thanks mc1234.
Babson is actually not my first choice, it’s an amazing school for business and I am so happy to have been accepted and given money, but it was on my list as more of a safety.

Babson is one of my top 4 choices but I’m not going to go there without scholarship. What are your top choices?

I’m not really sure where I want to go- I didn’t really want to set myself up for any disappointment and think I would be happy at most of the schools on my list.
