Financial Aid Package

Well, ND gave us a pleasant surprise, too. FA packet received Monday, with Univ. Scholarship, Perkins and Stafford loans, and campus employment. Total after aid is about 15K under our EFC.

As many have said, this makes it doable, but a stretch, including additional loans of 11,000 or more per year. Meantime, he can go to State U. and the Honors Program there for much, much less. And he has a sibling who will start college in 2 years. Asking for your prayers and wisdom as we make this decision.

Merkur -

I sent you a PM. I hope it gets to you as I have been having a problem with some of my messages not being sent in a timely manner.

Heycow-
Got it; thanks. Sent you a reply, hopefully only once.

Hi Merkur,

I think I just PM'd you twice with basically the same message. Sorry, I'm still figuring out this site.

Still haven't gotten mine. I called and they said it should be sent out Friday, which should give me a day or two to make a decision. If it's not sent out Friday or Saturday, I'm screwed.

i'm going to appeal mine....

i still have to pay 18k even though my efc is 6k

income is 40k

kwantran. Parents income is 40K, or yours? Not sure if you are the student or parent.
