FA packages seem to be coming in around this time (if not for RD, then at least for EA). I got mine just now and it looks awesome!! Just a heads up for everyone who got in EA. :^) Use your MyAccess login information, which you should have received in the mail (or online if you're an international applicant).

Congrats! Are you attending GAAP weekend? It solidified Georgetown as my school for me.

Did you get an email saying your package was ready?

@CSIHSIS: I’m attending Hoya Saxa Weekend (the URM outreach program, which is on the same weekend anyway). Campus is only a few minutes away from my house, but I’ve never stayed overnight, so I’m excited!

@ilovelacey: I didn’t, which is really weird. They should notify us by email - after all, this is big news. I’ve been checking MyAccess multiple times a day because I was so anxious.

I got my financial aid package! It was way better than I thought it would be. I also got into the 1789 Program, so Georgetown is now a real choice for me.

@kimjongthriller That’s strange. I’m out of town and I don’t have my letter that they sent me with the log in information…ERG.

I’m attending the GAAP weekend. I’m nervous, but excited.

@ilovelacey: Hmm…If you didn’t receive it by now, you should definitely call the school. I’m sure they can easily pull that up for you.

@kimjongthriller I accessed the package. It’s awesome! I had no loans! Much more generous than expected.

My package is terrible and really hinders my ability to attend Georgetown. I’m bummed. Congrats to all who are getting better offers, however.

@alexdbgl That sucks. I would definitely reach out to them, though. Call them out if they haven’t met your need. Also, bartering is an option. It is not uncommon to tell colleges that you would attend but for the cost, and explain that other schools have given you better packages. They could respond with more aid.
