Was there an email notifying you that your financial aid was updated?
Hello,
I have received college admission to Univ. of Houston, UT Dallas and two other out of state colleges. I have also received admission at UT Austin (chemical engineering) with no financial aid. I have received substantial financial at all colleges except UT Austin.
What are the chances UT Austin will match the financial aid other colleges are rewarding. If so whom should I contact?
I know some friends contacted Rice University and they matched financial aid.

So frustrated right now. UT wants all these verification documents, and I’m fine with giving them it, but I just can’t seem to get the tax transcript because of issues with the IRS. I don’t know the exact details, but my dad explained that it will still be a couple of days 
I updated my fafsa a while ago, but no retrieval tool for me. I just got another email telling me to give ut my additional documents. Will UT still give me the aid money once I give them all my forms? I’ll probably get that all to them mid April
@rodeo3441 it is very doubtful that UT will match any financial offers you got from other universities. The simple reason is UT does not have too. UT, like all major universities runs yield management in selecting their incoming class. UT assumes a certain percentage of offers will be declined. If you decline there will be another person to take your spot.

@IbnHooligan Make sure you are checking the right place. My S did not get an email but on his financial aid tab, he clicked “see cash.” It took him to a page with a lot of links. The third one down was “financial aid shopping sheet.” Click “View my shopping sheet”
Just in case you had not tried that. If you still have nothing, I would call because it would be unlikely they would expect you to make a decision by May 1 without FA information a few weeks in advance.
@gettingschooled - thanks for that info about the ‘shopping sheet’ section. I had thought I had clicked around on most of the sections but, I had not.
