Anyone still waiting on financial aid/scholarship packages? Why are some schools slow in sending this information out? Does it mean my S may get less money? Hard to make any decisions when we have little information…
I think this time last year we had all but one. It turned out that one was missing a form (but never emailed to say so as others did, nor did they have a n easy to find portal to check). I finally had to call to find that out.
So…make sure all your stuff is in and checked off on the portal or whatever and email or call if that doesn’t do it.
^ THIS. We had one school that hadn’t provided a finaid package and when we called said something was missing from their file. I can’t remember what it was at this point but it had been received, it was an IDOC issue if I remember correctly. They really dragged their feet and kept us waiting and then provided a package that was subpar to every other package received. CALL.
@NEPatsGirl In our case the one that was missing the doc came so late she didn’t get to visit (it was her furthest school - Tulane in NOLA), and she would have, if we had known how terrific their FA package was going to be. It was the second-best one she got. But it came too late 
Aw. Tulane came early for us and it was indeed pretty generous! Smith sent one after May 1. LOL. Definitely call them.
