I am a college sophomore in Texas looking to transfer to Miami. I will be applying after this semester and will have a 3.64 with 45 hours. I’m not too worried about getting in, but I’m worried about paying for it. It says Miami doesn’t give transfer scholarships unless you have a minimum GPA of 3.75? That doesn’t make sense to me if the average transfer GPA is 3.3. Also, my families EFC is 30K, but the fasfa estimates I filled out online give me almost no aid. Does this mean Miami will find a way to cover the difference between COA and EFC? Any information on any of this would be great! Thank you!
They are not one of the schools which guarantee need.
I wish I could let you know how good they are with helping out student but I’m currently awaiting that information as well.
