Could someone let me know the Financial Aid policies of the colleges ( Columbia, UPenn, Stanford, Williams, Middlebury, Hamilton, Bates ) - If I have applied for Aid, can they offer me admission but not give me an aid package covering the 100% demonstrated need of the applicant.

( If this is the case I can ask my relatives, staying in the US, to cover the remaining cost and they would surely help me. )

Or do colleges reject every candidate whose demonstrated need the college can't cover.

I know for sure that penn will reject a student if they are not willing to cover their full need…if you ask for aid they will not give you admission without full requested aid. columbia probably has the same policy. not sure about the others…

Each college sets its own policy about this, and the policy can change completely from one year to the next. You need to contact the international admissions officer at each place that you are interested in, and ask what the current policy is.

Middlebury is not need blind for international students, but will meet 100% of the full demonstrated need for every international student that is accepted.
