<p>If you can’t afford to attend you need to tell Cornell right away. You can be released from your ED agreement if you did not receive enough financial aid to attend. Contact the admissions office now and tell them you cannot afford to attend without aid. Let them know that if there is no possibility for aid at this point, you need to be released from your ED agreement.</p>
<p>Actually to this international student…you will have to provide a form that indicates that you have the resources to attend college in the U.S. This can include financial aid and already approved loans. You need this to get your Visa to study here. Without it, you cannot come here for college studies.</p>
<p>So…agreed if you cannot pay for Cornell, you can’t attend Cornell, and you need to decline the admission offer.</p>
<p>Does Cornell guarantee to meet full need for international students? If so, did this student have need? If you don’t have financial need, you won’t be getting aid at most other schools either.</p>
