First of all, am I only the only one who hasn't received my financial aid yet? Should I be worried? I sent everything on time and it shows I have nothing missing.

Secondly, if my family of 4 (with one, soon to be 2, kids in college) earns an income of less than $60k, do you think Cornell will cover everything?

I'm hesitant to send in my deposit without knowing if my costs are covered. Anyone with experience know something about how much they will cover for my family?

Any help is appreciated! Thanks!

EDIT: actually, I have a "Federal Verification Wksht" due before 5/1/12. Is that what's stopping me from getting my financial aid?

Most aid offers do come before April 15th, so it may be wise to contact the Financial Aid Office. As for how much aid they will give, for families with $60,000 or less, most colleges do cover a good portion of the total cost. Still, I would advice you to contact the Financial Aid Office and check up on this information. Good Luck!

As for the ID number, are you talking about the ID that Cornell gave to access our CommonApp?

My son finally got the e-mail notification for the financial aid yesterday 4/15/2011 before 4 PM. We were missing W2 info and was submitted on 4/4/2011.
Not sure why Cornell decide not to use CCS profile’s service?
They are just waste everybody’s resource to do it seperatly.

Here is the first paragraph:

Dear Cornellian,
Your financial aid application for 2010-11 has been reviewed and information is now available for you to view via the Student Services Center (<a href=“Cornell University Web Login”>Cornell University Web Login). We no longer send paper notifications for either initial aid letters or revision letters.

I don’t have the ID because they require another ID you can not use the Application ID to logon.
My son already logon yesterday and he said Cornell require deposit $400 in order to see the financial aid decision. I need to get the logon ID and double check about this strange rule?

If this is true then is anybody try to talk with Cornell ?
