<p>two things:
first, tell your parents that if they want to pay less for college, they need to hurry up with their forms
second, i think by "feb 15" they mean the priority filing deadline, which is the preferred, but not necessary date. however, u should try very hard to meet this date, as not doing so might hurt the amount of aid u recieve</p>
<p>It does seem kind of perverse of colleges to require tax forms before the tax deadline, but that's one of the hurdles you need to clear to get financial aid. Do get your stuff in as early as possible; you should spare no effort when it comes to financial aid. If you can't get the forms done, it won't be the end of the world, but don't expect a whole lot.</p>
