I applied early action for Harvard as of this year. However, I didn't apply for financial aid early. Simply because I want to apply financial aid at regular time for all those colleges I'm going to apply later. So my question is can I apply early action to Harvard and later apply for financial aid during regular decision for Harvard?

Literally JUST about to post this. I didn’t apply for financial aid because I wasn’t aware it was due. What do I do?

Apparently the CSS Profile & Parents’ tax returns were both due on November 1st. I actually didn’t find this out either until a week before the due date, but at least I was able to submit them on time.

I’m not sure what happens if you submit those late.

Harvard admits students without regard to financial need. If you are accepted and need financial aid, you may apply later in the year for aid.

FWIW: If accepted SCEA and you applied for aid, the award is an estimate based upon your family’s 2012 earnings. To receive the actual award, you must follow the directions and submit 2013 tax returns and the 2013 CSS Profile (not estimated) and the FAFSA. See: https://college.harvard.edu/financial-aid/applying-aid/prospective-students

I’m reasonably sure you won’t have a problem. While our family’s experiences are with Princeton and Duke rather than Harvard, I expect Harvard will be similarly liberal in their policies. At Princeton and Duke the published FA deadlines aren’t hard deadlines; FA applications are accepted even after classes have begun.
