if we don’t want money, do we fill out the financial aid application or the CSS profile or similar things?

i'm thinking similar things, cornell is the only one that asks me that kind of information

cornell has a form called declaration of finances and another called financial aid application and CSS? we fill out the first one but not the second one, right?

what about other colleges?

Some schools want CSS, some want CSS and their own app, and some just require their own app. All require FAFSA though.

All require FAFSA even if we do NOT want financial aid?!

You should always file the fafsa because if you should have a change in circumstances at some schools if you don't file/ apply freshman year, they may not allow you to file for aid in subsequent years. In addditions some schools require the filing of the FAFSA for merit money

what kind of schools have that kind of requirement?

im looking at Cornell, Princeton, and Penn.

umm fran? i only had one form to fill out for cornell. and i attached tax returns and w-2 forms with it. i hope that's what you did?

oh Princeofnam. sorry about that. i didn't want to confuse you.
