I am heavily considering committing to UChicago, however I didn't apply for financial aid this year.

My question is: Is it possible for me to apply for financial aid as a sophomore, if I didn't apply as a freshman?

Thanks guys!

You can do that to all colleges you apply to. I’m sure somebody who knows more about Chicago will give you a thorough reply, but I’m pretty sure Chicago, with its generous financial aid and large endowment, will give you some sort of aid if you apply.

UChicago? Generous financial aid? You must be joking.

All domestic students may re-apply for financial aid after enrolling the college, even if they did not do so with their initial application. International students, should they expect to need financial aid at some time during their four years of school, MUST apply for financial aid during the freshman application process.
