Hey, I had to correct my original FAFSA and we just received the corrected EFC. It is $102 lower than the previous EFC. Is it worth it to contact my school's financial aid office? Thanks

I’m assuming your changed FAFSA resulted in a higher EFC. Is that correct? If that is true, you would have to show the financial department evidence to support why you NEED that additional $102. Typically they don’t change the award unless something on the FAFSA doesn’t represent the true finances of the family (e.g. medical expenses or some other emergency spending that is not reflected on the FAFSA).
