I looked at my financial aid requirements and saw that Boston College never received my parents’ 1040 or W-2 forms. On March 30, I faxed and mailed both to BC. I was wondering if I would receive a reduced financial aid package if anything at all. Also, I was confused over the situation of the student taxes. I can’t file taxes, yet BC states that it is a required document. Will I still get something if I don’t send in my student tax returns? I feel like an idiot. Thank You

I assume you don’t file because you don’t have any taxable income. You can tell them that so they can waive the requirement. Some schools have you fill out a non-filer form where you list any untaxed income in any case. Can’t remember if BC does. Call or email. Did you send the tax documents to the Randolph MA address? It’s on web site if you didn’t.

yes, you can e-mail them, but it’s usually just easier to fax (or mail to the Randolph PO) in the form so they can ‘check the box’.
