<p>I dont think my school puts a weighted GPA on our transcripts. When I got a copy of my transcript, I didnt see that.
As for the ACTs, I took it twice, June 2009 (32) and December 2009 (32 as well).
I dont know of any other schools I can still apply to; however, I think I will settle with Binghamton for now. It seems like the best option for now… right?</p>
<p>Bedouin - those scholarship dollars are unclaimed for a reason and it is not lack of information, FASTWEB has been publicizing them for years. Too many private scholarships are rendered useless by the multitude of strings attached - must graduate from a school in county X and major in classics, must graduate from high school X and be of ____descent and going to schools A, B or C. Another group of scholarship offers require tons of work for very little payoff and are therefore time managment prohibitive to the kind of kid who applies for scholarships.</p>
<p>Your optimism is frightening - and misleading. The money students actually receive is most often given by the college or university either directly (school funds) or indirectly (federal money).</p>
