Financial Aid Re-Evalution Year after Year

I'm a freshman at Georgetown and I love it here. I worked really hard to get accepted, and my original GU Scholarship was $21,500 per year, plus another $3000 scholarship and $3000 in work-study. They found a discrepancy on my FAFSA (it stated that I had three siblings in post-secondary educational institutions when I only have three) and lowered the GU Scholarship by $1,820 per year. This is already at a max for my parents to pay.

I have a sister who is a senior and a brother who is a sophomore. I am scared out of my mind for when my financial aid is reevaluated for my sophomore year (after my sister graduates). I don't think my parents are aware that the FA package changes year to year, and Im afraid Im going to have to transfer.

I really love it here and being in the MSB, I don't think I would get as great of an education/job offers graduating from the university I would probably transfer to.

Is my FA going to change by a lot?

This is the sort of thing you’re going to want to discuss with a FA counselor - the sooner, the better. [Staff - Student Financial Services](http://finaid.georgetown.edu/staff-directory/)
