Financial aid recipients--adding an EFT?

on the MyBerkeleyApp website, it says all students should create their EFT, and especially financial aid students should create theirs ASAP. For the past month I've been trying to create one...I keep getting a screen after I enter my transit/acct number saying Error Code 3, You are not a valid vendor. I called Billing services a long time ago and they said within a week we'd be receiving an email saying we could create the EFT but I've not received one yet. I'm a financial aid student and do not want anything to get delayed because I haven't been able to create it.

Has anyone been able to create it? Or is it just me?

You don't really need an EFT until September at the earliest so there is no need to worry quite yet. I recommend calling them again to check on the status.

Please create an EFT as soon as possible. It takes time for the account to become verified, which means that your refund could be delayed if you wait until you receive it to set an EFT up.

That said, it is still a little bit early. Be patient and wait another week or two before worrying.
