Okay, here's the quick rundown. 6 years ago out of high school I signed up for classes and was ill prepared. I ended up failing some of the classes. I was Just wondering if I could get some feedback on my appeal letter.

Dear Financial Aid Committee:
My name is ______ and I am writing this letter in hopes that the decision to suspend my Financial Aid can be reconsidered. Although my grades were poor in the past, my GPA does not reflect my capability and determination to succeed and reach my academic goals. I am capable of making academic progress and earning acceptable grades. When I began schooling six years ago, I did not have a sufficient plan for managing my time and balancing my classes with my other responsibilities. I am aware now of the mistakes I have made and am asking for one more chance to show ______ that I can succeed academically.

Since the time I last attended ______, I believe I have developed the skills that will help me succeed. I have a passion for website design. I have taught myself several computer programs and processes and have developed websites. In 2011 when I was at Community college I received a scholarship. I also became involved in community service and served on an Arts Council for 9 months, ending in 2013 when I moved.

It is my desire to continue my education and complete my Associates degree online and then I plan to transfer to Utah State University and complete my Bachelors degree in Management information systems. Please know that school is of great importance to me and I have come up with a new plan to manage my time and school work; I believe it will be very effective for me and I will bring all of my grades and cumulative GPA up to, or above, your acceptable academic standards policy.

My new academic plan is as follows:
I will contact my instructor if there is something I do not understand or if I have any doubts or questions about any course materials and communicate more with all of my instructors than I have in the past. If I am having trouble with coursework in any of my classes, I will contact a tutor immediately.
I will not be working while attending school. This was a difficulty in my last semester at Snow College and it was more than I could handle.

I am grateful for the opportunity to attend ______, and I am excited about my academic future. However, without financial aid I will be unable to continue my studies. Please know that I am extremely focused on my future and realize that dedication to my education is paramount. Please allow me a second chance to prove that I can be a model student and achieve academic excellence.

Sincerely,
