@dygibbs ok thanks. Villanova is saying that I need to submit my IDOC sheet. I didn’t think there was a sheet but just didn’t want to miss anything…
On the Financial Aid checklist, it has red x’s next to two entries of IDOC Cover Sheet as below:
I won’t worry about it. We submitted everything else.
Awaiting IDOC Cover Sheet
Awaiting IDOC Cover Sheet
Maybe the IDOC cover sheet? Go to IDOC for more info.
Thanks @dygibbs: I found this in case it helps anyone.
ANSWER
Sign-In to IDOC.
On the Document Management Dashboard, click the “through the mail” link, and then click the IDOC Cover Sheet link.
NOTE: Your IDOC Cover Sheet must be legible and printed as a one-sided document.
Just add… if you are mailing more than one child’s IDOC info to the college board use separate mailing envelopes.i didn’t and I learned the hard way. Submitted two copies (one for each of our children) of over 80 pages each, labeled each clearly, each had their own IDOC cover sheet and even included a note that there were two students info in the mailing. Well… completely useless. After only one child’’s info was uploaded I called the college board. Apparently they disregarded all notes and threw one child’s info out. Had to re-copy another 80 pages and mail again. Beyond frustrating.
@pkchamp89 that’s awful. it’s hard enough sending all that in the mail. I only sent it through IDOC by uploading it but it seems each day, more and more is checked off as received (over the past two days). Still waiting for them to check off two things.
@pago18 I would think uploading would be so much quicker! I’m surprised that it is not uploaded all at once. I did try to upload but there was a file size limit and our file was too large. Seems like this system should be easier than it I actually is.
My D received this on her application status. She is ED. “Financial aid packages for students who completed an application for need-based aid will be posted to the Applicant Status Page by March 29, 2018. You will receive notice via email when they are posted” Do you think that means there is HOPE of her receiving financial aid?
@BellaCulen not really sure. The schools that my daughter applied to all have given reports once financial aid is figured out for those who applied. (even if the aid is 0). Sorry! Fingers crossed for you.
thank you @pago18
