Financial Aid suspended. now what?

I go to school at sul ross and am a member of the fire department. I also worked at a retail store. I got behind in work and classes and got my aid suspended. The second appeal isn't until august and being an ra next semester and quitting my job means I need to be there aug 10.

So I have a few questions.
1. What makes for a good appeal letter?
2. What are my options for paying? One semester I need to pay is 3400 about.
3. With fa suspended can I get scholarships or outside ones?
4. Do loans sound feasible for this amount?

A good appeals letter explains why you did poorly and how you plan to remedy this in the future. Loans are PART of financial aid, so you will need to become eligible for financial aid to be eligible for loans. It is very unlikely you will find scholarships you will be eligible for if you grades are such that you are ineligible for FA. Your best bet is to write a good appeals letter and, if the appeal is granted, make sure you meet the requirements to maintain eligibility going forward.

I appreciate it and I will be working to write a good paper to send to financial aid at my school. One loan sallie mae I think will give me the cost of a semester (3400) without financial aid I believe?
