Financial aid tax returns when no parents

For college-specific financial aid, they all require tax returns from 2015. They specify that they want your parents’ tax returns, but I don’t live with my parents and haven’t seen them in four years. I am a ward of the court with a legal guardian, so should I submit my guardian’s tax returns?
