Financial Aid (updates) - PFAA?

Hi, so Princeton doesn’t officially use the CSS Profile or the FAFSA as I’m sure you all know, but they have their own form, the PFAA. We did this for the SCEA app and got an estimated award.

I’m in the process now of getting the “real” 2015 data, cementing younger siblings’ plans for next year, etc. In all likelihood there will be some changes to the numbers put into the PFAA. Per my other thread, I did successfully call the Financial Aid office at Princeton and they thought the changes wouldn’t affect the award much if at all, but my question now is:

What exactly do I do about the changes? Do I print out the PFAA and mark things that are different and fax it? That seems to be implied on what I’ve read so far. Or will Princeton see the changes if I list them on the FAFSA even though they don’t require it (we’re filing for the other schools just in case)? I’m guessing not.

And one more thing - the “parental assets” have changed by an annoying chunk due to the recent market downturn for the 529, of which the younger siblings’ accounts are much more in the stock market. Would a couple thousand dollar decrease be worthy of mention in some way in that column?

Thank you for any thoughts!!
