I am looking at outside scholarships but I have no idea what will be offered to me by nu. can anyone help me out with suggestions or personal experience on how they handled the tuition?</p>
<p>Divide your EFC by the number of kids in college and you’ll get a ballpark estimate of what you’ll be paying. </p>

You have to be very careful with financial aid at NU because the only aid you get is directly from them.</p>
<p>The above is misleading. If you have outside scholarships, NU will take them. But frequently that will be subtracted rom the aid package they’re offering you.</p>
<p>NU happily took D’s outside scholarship money.</p>
