I got the Federal SEOG / Pell Grant + Berkeley Undergraduate Scholarship + Cal Grant A + other scholarships from the company my dad's working for.

However, none of them have paid out so far..?

When I check Award Details, nothing's been paid and my E-Bill says that I need to pay $7k as the minimum balance.

I go to my Awards Summary and all the scholarships are listed there (confirmed for all, estimated for Cal Grant A, so I'm assuming I get the grant AFTER the semester and maintain a 3.0+) but yeah.. What should I do??

Aug 15th is coming up pretty soon (2 days!!) T_T

Minimum Amount Due Now: $7,123.00
Minimum Due + Full Reg Fee: $7,123.00
Account Balance : $13,364.97

^ So what does that even cover? Technically, I only have to pay $8,000 throughout the whole year, but let’s say Cal Grant A doesn’t get paid until I show them proof of a 3.0 or higher. That means I’ll be paying $20,000~ out of my own pocket (for the year) - and then being covered $12k / $8k by other respective scholarships.

But what is this $13k? Should I just pay up? Or should I wait until my other scholarships (Berkeley Undergraduate, PELL, SEOG Grants) come into play? And when do you guys think that’ll be? :(

It would be simpler to call up the FAO and wait for an hour until your call is picked up. They can accurately clear this up for you.

What you said about getting the grant after you maintain a 3.0 wouldn’t make sense as you’re bill is due now. Estimated simply means they don’t have the exact amount in their system. You should call to clear that up if it still says estimated.

Wait. My finaid paid out (not all of it, but enough to cover tuition) and I just got my refund. They may just be doing this in waves. Last semester and last year I had to wait until September for anything to go through.
