<p>I knew with a 50 million dollar endowment, the amount of grants would be limited. Never would I have thought that I would get nothing. Well, $5500 in Sub and UnSub loans, but thats far from ‘free money’. </p>
<p>At this point UCLA and UCSD are less expensive.</p>

<p>Do you not qualify for the Cal Grant? If you do you will get it at Pomona.</p>
<p>My parents make 75k, which is 1,500 more than the Cal Grant ceiling. I have a 3.8 unweighted.
I thought that I would qualify for at least a few grants.</p>
<p>I feel you man, I am in the exact same situation as you. I expected to receive some sort of aid besides loans, but I only received 5,500 in loans per year.</p>
<p>Can anyone understand my financial aid? My family income exceeds 150k and I received both the pell grant and university grant, 11k combined. I thought this was only for students of a lower income.</p>
<p>Also, can this money be used for housing and living expenses? I don’t know much at all about how these grants work.</p>
