Financial Aid

I'll be a freshman this fall and I think I almost have everything paid for.
I have a community style housing with no intents of buying a meal plan and my own insurance.
Is there any other ways too cut a few dollars or find extra aid, scholarships, etc. ?

This late in the running? Not likely. The only way to really cut your expenses would be to not take any more than 12 credits, as that’s the magical number to get all of your financial aid (12 is considered full-time, under 12 is prorated, but above 12 the only thing that’s prorated is Bright Futures, which only covers a small portion of the tuition).

You could also buy your textbooks online instead of at the bookstore if they’re cheaper, but that requires buying them up front vs using your financial aid.

You could also probably find a part-time job somewhere on or near campus.

Thanks for the reply !
