<p>How competitive is the financial aid given to students based on merit scholarship? And is any financial aid given to students of minority status?</p>

<p>This isn’t exactly what you’re looking for, but according to the 2011 Common Data Set numbers, about half of the freshman who didn’t receive need-based grants received merit-based scholarships. </p>
<p>All students receive aid meeting 100% of demonstrated financial need, but there are no scholarships awarded specifically on the basis of minority status.</p>
