Financial aid

I called Rutgers NB today and they said that financial packages don't come out until June.
I spent a few minutes trying to rationalize that with the woman, but to no avail.

I STRONGLY with that. How can they send you your package after you've fully comitted? What if I can't afford it?

Someone please tell me when these packages come out, or if you have received yours already. Thanks!

I STRONGLY disagree*

That means I have to wait also. :(

I really don’t think you have to wait that long. It just makes no sense to me…

Yeah they don’t send out award letters until June but from my experience, Rutgers is good at giving need based aid to in-state students

hey luked idk whether you have been able to figure this out yet or not but i had the same question…

apparently this week or next there are “planning letters” that are supposed to go out. while this is not the final financial aid package that they are offering you it is supposed to be pretty close and something that you should be able to base your decision of admission off of.

i am very surprised that the lady didn’t mention this to you. i was made aware of this from the go-rutgers admitted students social connection thingy…

@idkwht2put—did you accept your enrollment prior to joining GoRutgers? I want to join but I am in no position to commit at the moment.

They send out estimations way before and 95% of the time you get what they tell you.
