I just got my financial aid estimate, and as I was expecting, it's not enough. Is it even worth it to appeal and try to get more money or is it futile and should I kiss my Fordham dreams goodbye? I guess what I'm asking is that if I appeal my financial aid is there a chance I could even be awarded a few thousand more dollars a year? Thanks!

It never hurts to appeal. It does depend on how more you really need to attend. Is it just a few thousand or $10,000+.

Appeal and share your other offers and awards with them.

What helps is to have proof of offers from schools that are comparable or more selective.

In reading information on these Fordham threads, I thought I remembered you mentioning being a swimmer (as is also indicated by your screen name)? Have you considered contacting the swim coach about the possibility of swimming for Fordham and seeing if that would provide financial additional help?
