So i'm in-state, and was expecting my need to be filled with loans and work study.

What MSU did was fill the entire cost of attendance with grants, loans, and work study.

Granted, loans far outweighed any other factor, but I still thought it was interesting that they did aid this way. Not really looking at EFC and need, but filling the sticker price. Maybe this is just for in-state students though.

I am in-state so expected very little, but I am a five time legacy and expected at least something from that. they did offer me some random loans, but my family isn't intersted in loans (and told them that). AHHH frustration.

Still waiting to see if Mizzou gives me money, because then I am getting the hell out of dodge...haha

Seems to me MOST of you in-staters have it better off, despite the fact you didn't get any scholarships. You have a cheaper tuition and receive better Financial Aid packages (from what I hear here). I think I got a $7k scholarship and $3-5k Study Abroad scholarship but my financial aid package is terrible. It really isn't going to cut it. I don't see how they expect my family to pay as much as they say they should be able to. shrug Oh well. I guess that's the way it goes though. It was my choice to go out-of-state.
