did you guys sumbit carnegie's own financial aid report?

bumpppppppp

yes, they lost it, then I resubmitted it.

when is that due? i thought it was due april 15th...

I went to an orientation in late January and they were requesting by mid February. That's when I first submitted it.

For incoming freshman is was due (with copies of tax returns, etc) Feb 15. For continuing students it is due April 15. (the dates are on the tops of the forms)
Many people complain that they do not have their taxes done by Feb 15 but last year (when my D was incoming) I just made sure I did them by then. It was a big pain but when April came around at least they were done!

just a Q to those who know anything about aid...
did u get aid same as what they sent on the estimate?

I got really good aid on the estimate (about 30,000 total) but I have not recieved the final amount yet, since I was ED I don't think anyone has. From what I have heard I should know pretty soon. I am a little anxious because my mom doesn't seem too serious about doing it right, even though it is my only option for a school, and she did not get them the taxes until March 16th. I hope it is ok though, because she did the FAFSA on time and her taxes matched what she guessed (she is a professional artist with her own business so it isn't as easy for her as most people). I am really hoping it was the same, but the dates on my information page worry me... the FAFSA was finished on time but CMU didn't put it into the system until days after it should have been. I am not sure whether the gov mailed it hardcopy instead. I will probably be calling admission pretty soon to make sure it turned out ok. Hopefully CMU isn't too anal about all this.
