<p>Hi guys,</p>

<p>So my financial aid package is pretty generous, but I was wondering if I might be able to find a way to request another $2500/semester?</p>

<p>I asked my current college about how much they'd be willing to offer and they bumped my award up around $5000/semester. They're around the same size college, so I thought that might be the same here, but I thought I'd feel around a little bit, and see if you guys had any experience with it?</p>

<p>Hi - write a letter to financial aid and include the offer from your current school. It never hurts - in our case, they did increase our son’s award. We had financial aid awards from similar colleges (that offered more generous aid) that we included in our letter. Good luck! They’re very nice to work with.</p>
