I was recently admitted into UChicago via RD but I’ve yet to receive any news regarding financial aid. Were financial aid wards already given out and I simply didn’t receive any? or does UChicago send out financial aid at a later date?
Check the following:
When you applied you indicated you would like to be considered for financial aid.
You submitted all materials required by the deadlines indicated.
If you did both of these things then call the FA office because as I recall the FA offer comes with the acceptance.
I contacted the Financial Aid Office as I had the same question. Only my FAFSA was late (received 2/22 when the deadline was 2/15), yet I hadn’t received anything a couple of days after the decision notification. The Office quickly emailed me back that they were sending out financial aid packages on a rolling basis over the next few weeks, so I’ve been waiting patiently!

I was wondering the same thing. My son was accepted EA and we were emailed a preliminary FA estimate, but that was before we had even submitted the FAFSA. We’re still waiting on something official. Did anyone else get an official FA package?
