Right now i have a 3.75 GPA and a 31 act. Im not involved in many clubs, however I plan to be. I work at a church (fellowship church Dallas audio engineer) about 35 hours a week. I played one year of baseball in high school. What are my chances of getting into pepperdine, and if so getting financial aid?
Just based on what you said (are you a junior?), I’d say you’ll get in partially because you’re from out of state, but unless there is something more I doubt merit scholarship monies–pure financial aid there is no way to say without knowing your family’s financial situation.
Decent chance of getting in but zero dollars in scholarships. Scholarships, to my understanding, are based on two things: unweighted GPA and test scores. The top 10% of admitted applicants are offered scholarships. FWIW, I was told that this year’s applicants needed better than 2200 SAT with a 4.0 GPA for scholarships. Look at the posts from those who got scholarships and you will see what I mean.
