My financial aid currently says unconfirmed for the Cal grant. My pell grant and my UCI grant have been accepted, but the only one that still says unconfirmed is the Cal Grant B. Im starting to be worried, is there anyone that is going through the same thing?
My entire financial aid is still “under review,” (haven’t had the chance to accept anything) so I’m going to assume their entire department is insanely backed up.
If you’re met the requirements for the Cal Grant entitlement you’re fine. It may take them time to process but you’ll receive it on time, no need to worry about it. I got it last year and mine says unconfirmed as well, but I hadn’t even thought about it since I know it’ll go through. If it’s the competitive one then I’d be a little worried.

@Doisys okay, yeah it makes sense they’re backed up. @CaliEconTransfer yeah it says I met them, lol I’m just scared of something going wrong. Which is the competitive one?
I am in the same situation it says unconfirmed the only difference is that i have cal grant A so, i don’t think there’s nothing to worry about. But one of the requirements to receive the full grant is to have 12 units I’m not sure if its the same for cal grant b. I’m pretty sure it is just go on your summary aid and click on your cal grant and read all the information to double check.
