Hello, I am looking to transfer in from fall 2019 and was wondering on average how much does a family of 4 with a net income of about 25,000-30,000 get in grants and scholarships from a&m, this is quite bothering me thinking about all of this with a net efi of 0$! If anyone can give me their inputs that would be awesome!
You should use the net price calculator on the TAMU page. But based on my own numbers you should qualify for Pell Grant (approx $6000) and for the remainder of Tuition covered thru College for All Texans. For Texas A&M that Aggie Assurance Grant (College for all Texans) pays full Tuition for families with Net Income of $60,000 or less. On Average I believe when you check the Financial Aid page they are at 76% Meets Need. So you should get the Loans too and probably need to cover 25% of the Cost of Attendance.
