<p>You approve your Stafford loan on your eFAN. You then go to <a href="http://opennet.salliemae.com%5B/url%5D">http://opennet.salliemae.com</a> to complete your Stafford loan (you cannot accept the Stafford loan without completing this step). At that website, you electronically sign your MPN (master promissory note). (At this point, you have sucessfully accepted your Stafford loan and wait for approval and the first disbursement - 09/18.)</p>

<p>Anyway, I can see the status of my loans on opennet. So far, for status I've noticed "waiting for first disbursement" or something to that liking. I called a few days ago and was notified that as long as my MPN/SallieMae application/whatever was in, I would be alright. (The loans person told me that they had my MPN stuff and that I was OKAY.)</p>

You</a> must accept or decline each type of financial aid awarded. If you have been awarded a grant or scholarship that is not included in your eFAN, indicate the amount and source in the award section of your eFAN prior to returning it."
Did you mark something as undecided? None of my options are undecided at this point and I cannot find the "generate efan" button but I recall clicking through the eFAN thing after logging in and noticing that button.</p>
