I was just wondering if anyone else is applying for Financial Aid....If I don't get enough money, even though Georgetown is need met 100%, you know how FAFSA and those companies can be, saying you can afford more then you really can. I'm really worried about it. But If I get in, I'm going to take out loans, it's worth it.

In a similar vein, does applying for financial aid make acceptance tougher? I don't absolutely need financial aid to pay for school, but I figured any money I could get would help. Would that affect anything?

Most schools are "need blind" except for international students, or atleast i hope so, cuz i NEED it badly. GU is a lot better than most in giving 100%, and hopefully FAFSA will correctly represent me, i'm guessing they will cuz my sister got a lot.

I was under the impression that Gtown was both need-blind and guaranteed to meet 100% of demonstrated financial need.

Yes Georgetown is need-blind, from what I can remember. However, most schools are NOT need-blind. In fact, there are only 32 need-blind colleges in the US, according to wikipedia.

Yea, but Gtown is known for giving out a ****load of loans. That counts as meeting 100% of the need.
