<p>i'm an out of state applicant. is filling FAFSA the only thing i have to do for financial aid? no sending copies of tax forms? W2 forms etc.??</p>

<p>Well...colleges look at W2 forms to see how much income your family makes / taxes you pay and all that good stuff, which I think is part of the FAFSA anyway. You could also be required to send in a copy of your W2 forms later...I don't really remember. Also, I believe every year UC Berkeley selects a small portion of people and request that they submit more forms/documents, just to make sure they're not lying on their FAFSA or whatnot.</p>
